Surprise for Christmas!

After opening my presents at The Mora's house on Christmas, Jamey set a poorly wrapped box in front of me. I could not imagine what could be inside this box only half-way covered with tissue paper. As I'm about to do my habitual pick up and shake routine, Jamey warns that it is fragile and I should be extra careful. This heightens my curiosity. As I slowly take off the paper I notice holes punched into the top of the box. What on earth? Is there an animal inside? I could not imagine Jamey getting me another critter due to his usually constant complaining about my other various animals. As I finally open the box, with a very confused look on my face, I reach inside and pick up a very aggitated bearded dragon! She had her full beard puffed and mouth open, ready to attack any who came near. If only I had a picture, I'm sure it was quite a spectical. I wish I could push the rewind button and see not only my face, but the faces of my family as I pulled out the almost hissing lizard.
After the shock came down, I played 20 questions with Jamey and found out how he had obtained her. About a month before, I had come across a female beardie on KSL who seemed like she had all the perfect qualities I was looking for. I had been periodically looking for a mate for my other dragon for almost a year. After getting in touch with the owners and starting to negotiate a price, they stopped returning my phone calls and e-mails. I was quite persistant, and quickly became frustrated when I recieved no answer and could not figure out what to do next. I really wanted that dragon! I kept complaining to Jamey and asking him what I can do to find out if they had sold it or not. But finally I gave up, and forgot about it. It turns out Jamey had bought her from underneath me, and kept her secret from me for a month! I can't believe he did that for me! I have such a great husband, THANKS BUBBY! But now when he goes to complain, I can just say its not my fault I have her, it's his!
After looking at all of my presents this year, I have come to the conclusion that I am spoiled rotten! My friends and family put a lot of effort and love in getting me presents they know I'll enjoy and that only proves how lucky I really am in having such loving and caring people around me! Thanks All, I love you!
